Armada is an energy efficiency and solar company, owned and operated in Canberra, Australia. Established in 2007, Armada has grown steadily to become Canberra’s leading solar company. We have undertaken over 500 commercial, community and residential solar installations in the region. Our wealth of experience consists of hundreds of installations ranging from standard 1.5kW residential systems to 30kW commercial projects.
We have a history of providing renewable energy solutions and understand the specific characteristics needed in this region of Australia. Our knowledge in this area has prompted us to broaden our product range to include a number of energy efficiency products and services. This includes selling and installing Double Glazed Windows, Solar PV Maintenance, General Electrical Services and Energy Monitoring.
Our Vision
Our philosophy is that every building in Australia should be as energy efficient as possible and draw as much energy from the sun as they can, ideally becoming ‘Energy Positive’ by producing more energy than they consume. We are also committed to contributing to the Australian Government’s ‘20 by 2020’ target (20% of Australia’s energy produced by renewable sources by 2020) by helping popularise and proliferate the adoption of solar power.
We believe in a strong local economy and are only interested in servicing the ACT and region. We are also in the process of implementing an employee share ownership where the staff will own a significant portion of the company. We have a sister company, Touchdown Building Services, which offers a range of building services including rope access and height safety services.
