The nerve centre of any solar energy system is the INVERTER. This is the piece that changes the Direct Current generated on the solar panel into the Alternating Current that you use in your house. The better the inverter, the more efficient the exchange. The larger the inverter, the more power you can send through it. If you are thinking of putting more cells on your roof in the future, install a larger-than-necessary inverter. This means that you can easily expand you system whenever you decide to.
